Man Suffers Critical Injuries After Early Morning Shooting

Police are searching for suspects involved in an early morning shooting. NewsChannel 11's Suleika Acosta spoke with Lubbock Police and brings us the details of the incident.

Police tell us just after 4 a.m. a woman and her boyfriend pulled into the 7-11 parking lot at Parkway Drive & Zenith Avenue. That's when suspects in another vehicle opened fire, shooting the car's windows and injuring the man inside. The victim received multiple gun shot wounds to an arm, abdomen and groin area.

The woman drove the injured man to the Town and Country convenience store at 19th Street & Avenue P and called police. Authorities tell us they are still searching for the suspects, call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000 if you have any information. For Your Mobile Devices
