Construction Worker Falls Thirty Feet - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock construction worker is recovering at University Medical Center after he fell 30 feet off a building. It happened at about 1:45 p.m. Friday afternoon at 15th and Akron on the Texas Tech campus.

According to university police, the man was working on the roof of the Human Sciences building when lost his footing. A beam broke his fall. The man's name and condition have not been released.

His injuries are not considered life threatening.
