Fund Established for Single Dad and Daughter - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A single dad and his young daughter escaped their burning home Thursday night, but lost everything. The fire began around 9:30 p.m. at a duplex in the 4100 block of 17th street. The man told firefighters the blaze started in the kitchen, and spread to the living room.

Rickie Hall and his 6-year-old daughter Riquelle lost most of their possessions in that fire. A fund to help the family get back on its feet has been established. If you would like to make a donation, you can do so at any branch of Alliance Federal Credit Union.
