Suspects Carjack Lubbock Couple to Steal Tools

A Lubbock couple found themselves the victims of a car-jacking as two men used their car to allegedly steal tools.

The couple was getting into their car in the 1600 block of 38th Street just before 2 p.m. Friday afternoon. Two men approached the couple, said they had a gun and made their way into the car with the couple.

The suspects drove to ASCO Equipment on the Slaton Highway where Miller says the suspects went in and came out running with a drill. The suspects then drove around East Lubbock before getting out of the car.

The couple was then able to call police.
