Prom night for two Idalou High School students ends at a Lubbock hospital.

Idalou Police say a car was traveling east on 4th Street and failed to stop at a stop sign, crashing into the teenager's car. The force pushed both cars up into a front yard.

The two high school students were treated and released from a Lubbock hospital. Police say the adult driver of the other car may have been drinking.

He is in satisfactory condition, his female passenger remains in ICU.
