Four Charges Of Animal Cruelty Filed Against Shallowater Man

A Shallowater man is now charged with animal cruelty.

On Thursday, the Lubbock County District Attorney's Office filed four counts of cruelty of animal charges against the man who lived in a trailer near Shallowater. Investigators found a number of starving dogs and the remains of others on the property which is just West of Shallowater.

An arrest warrant is expected to be issued for the owner. He faces up to two years in jail, if convicted.
