Lubbockites to March in Honor of Cesar E. Chavez - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

March 31st is considered Cesar E. Chavez Day in Lubbock.

Chavez was a civil rights leader who fought for injustices of farm and migrant workers in America. Friday, his brother Richard Chavez spoke to students at various schools.

Saturday, he'll lead the 7th annual Cesar E. Chavez March in Lubbock which starts at 1pm in the west parking lot of Cavazos Junior High.
