The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission's "Stop Sales to Intoxicated Persons" program has gained national attention over the past several days, but now the agency may re-vamp the program.
During the public intoxication stings officers go into bars and arrest people who are legally drunk. TABC has fielded numerous complaints in response to recent stings. Because of that a spokesperson says they'll now decide whether or not changes need to be made.
A hearing is scheduled for April 17th to discuss the program.
