Lubbock Cooper I.S.D. to Host Bond Hearing

Next month, voters in the Lubbock Cooper School District will decide on a $34 million bond proposal. It's the largest in the district's history and would go toward a new elementary school, new facilities and improvements to existing buildings. It would also fund a pipeline that would bring water from Lubbock to Lubbock Cooper schools.

If you have an opinion about the bond proposal, Thursday is your chance to share it with the board of trustees. They are hosting a public hearing in the Lubbock-Cooper North cafeteria. It starts at 7:00 p.m.
