Fund Established After Fatal Fire

A fund has been set up to help the family who lost a son in Tuesday's Central Lubbock house fire. It happened Tuesday in the 4300 block of 33rd street. Investigators say the fire started in the living room and killed 5-year-old Ethan Pena. His parents and baby sister were able to escape. However, his mother is still hospitalized at UMC.

If you would like to help the family with Ethan's funeral, you can make a donation at any branch of Plains Capital Bank.
