A Lubbock man who caused a bomb scare in South Lubbock is now facing additional charges. Police say 26-year-old Jeremy Womack now faces aggravated assault charges after his wife filed two complaints against him. This is in addition to his other charges of possession of drugs, a gun and explosive components.

Police say on the same night he was arrested for having the explosive device, he threatened to kill his wife. Last month she filed a report claiming Womack choked her until she passed out. Police say Womack is suspected to have ties to the Aryan Brotherhood.

As of Thursday evening he remains in the Lubbock County Jail.
