The murder of a Lubbock motorcyclist resulted in a five year prison sentence for Michael Chavez.
Chavez received that sentence last week after pleading guilty to manslaughter. Chavez was driving when Michael Rodriguez fatally shot Russell Baldree while he was riding his motorcycle near 50th and Indiana. It happened back in August of 2004 and went unsolved for nearly six months.
Rodriguez is now serving a 40 year prison sentence for the murder. Baldree was 28-years-old when he died.
