Ransom Canyon Burglary Suspect Indicted

The Lubbock man who was shot by homeowners while apparently breaking into a house will stand trial.

On Tuesday, Lubbock Grand Jury indicted Eric DeLeon for burglary of a habitation. He is accused of breaking into a Ransom Canyon home last month and stabbing Tom Ritter while he slept. Ritter's wife shot DeLeon in the chest.

Tom Ritter has since recovered.
