The owner of Baby Dolls is out of jail. Charles Westlund turned himself into authorities Tuesday after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Authorities issued the warrant for a felony charge of falsifying information on a Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission permit application. Westlund posted a $5,000 bond and is out of jail.
Westlund is now operating Baby Dolls as a bar, since it lost its license to run a sexually oriented business in January. The city believes Westlund lied about felony convictions on his application. He claims the convictions were misdemeanors.
Another hearing is scheduled for Friday.
