Lubbock Receives Crime Prevention Grant

The City of Lubbock will receive more than $168,000 federal dollars to fight crime. That announcement was made by Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. The funds come from the Justice Assistance Grant. It is a program designed to support crime prevention.

Overall, $14.3 million was awarded to four Texas cities and the Texas Governor's office.
