Amarillo Fire Forces 100 Households to Evacuate

Winds near 50 miles per hour fueled an Amarillo wildfire Saturday afternoon.

The fire destroyed two homes and forced residents of 100 homes to evacuate.

No injuries were reported and firefighters had the fire contained by Saturday evening. Fire officials are investigating the cause.
