Weekend Collision Kills 46-Year-Old Woman - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Police say a woman killed in a collision on Saturday night was not wearing a seatbelt.

The accident happened just before 10pm Saturday in the 3600 Block of Clovis Highway near North Loop 289. Police say 21-year-old Stephen Anderson failed to yield the right of way to another vehicle. Anderson's passenger, 46-year-old Bobbie Miller Andrews was killed.

Anderson is in serious condition at University Medical Center. The driver of the second vehicle, Santos Alvarez, was treated for minor injuries.
