Two brothers are now facing charges after leading police on a chase in Idalou last week.
Benjamin Charles Taylor and Michael Dale Taylor are accused of crashing their car through the Texas Dollar store on Highway 6282 in Lubbock last Thursday. Boards are still up where the glass was broken out.
The Taylors allegedly burglarized the store and drove away. Minutes later, an Idalou Police officer recognized the stolen vehicle the Taylors were driving and a chase began. Later, Michael Taylor got out of the car and started to run. Police say Benjamin Taylor got in the driver's seat and rammed the officer's car.
Both now face charges of burglary, unauthorized use of a vehicle and evading. Benjamin Taylor is facing additional charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and he's also wanted for an outstanding warrant for escape out of Indiana.
