It appears more changes are coming to the landscape of Texas Tech University.
The Rawls College of Business is getting a new facility. It will replace the current building which is more than 40 years old. Interim Chancellor Dr. Donald Haragan made the announcement Friday. He says the current facility is outdated and does not have enough space for students and staff.
The cost of the new college is $60 million. Right now, the university is at the halfway point in fundraising. "We have no doubt that we are going to be able to generate the funds that we are requesting for this," says Dr. Haragan.
The building is expected to be constructed next to the Merket Alumni Center.
