Texas Tech Unveils New Masked Rider

The new Texas Tech Masked Rider is a woman.

The changing of the reigns ceremony took place Friday. It's a traditional ceremony Tech holds every year to introduce the new Masked Rider. The new rider is Amy Bell. She took the mask and cape from Justin Burgin.

"I think the masked rider is one of the greatest traditions we have at Texas Tech and I'm really proud to have the opportunity to serve as 2006-2007 Masked Rider," says Bell.

Bell is a senior animal and food science major from Kermit.
