Two Men Arrested After Leading Police on Chase

Two men are in the Lubbock County Jail after taking police on a chase Saturday afternoon.

It started around 1:30 p.m. at 201 Indiana. Police were trying to stop 20-year-old Angel Rodriguez and 20-year-old Robert Lee Trevino from burlarizing a vehicle. The two men drove off and police chased them by car to the 2700 block of 2nd Street. Rodriguez and trevino then got out of the car and ran. Police caught up with them shortly there after near the 2800 block of 1st Place where they arrested the suspects.

Police say Rodriguez and Trevino face burglary of a vehicle and evading arrest charges.
