Two Lubbock men who led police on a short chase are now in the Lubbock County Jail facing burglary of a vehicle and evading arrest charges.

It started around 1:30 Saturday afternoon at 201 Indiana. Police were trying to stop 20-year-old Angel Rodriguez and 20-year-old Robert Lee Trevino from burglarizing a vehicle. The two men drove off and police chased them by car to the 2700 block of 2nd Street. Rodriguez and Trevino then got out of the car and ran. Police caught up with them on foot near the 2800 block of 1st Place.

Bond for Rodriguez and Trevino is set at $1,750, however Trevino can't bail out because of previous criminal mischief charges.
