University Leaders Defend Tuition Rates

University leaders are standing behind their rates.

Texas Tech administrators joined others from UT, A&M, and the University of Houston, before a Texas Senate subcomittee panel on Monday. They said admission applications are up and they need the higher tuition to compensate for state funding that has not kept up with inflation or enrollment.
