Governor Rick Perry is asking students across the state to bike or walk to school Thursday.

Perry proclaimed Thursday "Texas Bike and Walk to School Day." The proclamation is an effort to create active and healthy lifestyles. It's part of the Bike Texas Safe Routes to School Program.
