You probably won't even notice it, but a fee on your airline ticket will be slightly higher next time you fly into or out of Lubbock. It's called a passenger facility charge.

It's listed as PFC on your ticket and it's going up by $1.00. It will now be $3.00 to help pay for $9 million in capital improvements at the airport. Improvements include upgrades to the flight information monitors, signs, engine safety areas and more.
