He's called "Chief" in Muleshoe but starting in May, Don Carter will be called "Captain."

Muleshoe Police Chief Don Carter will be joining the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office as Captain. He's served Bailey County for nearly 20-years from patrol officer to police chief. Carter has also served as regional commander for the Department of Homeland Security.
