Routine Traffic Stop Leads to Meth Discovery

A Lubbock man is in jail facing drug charges. It all started as a routine traffic stop just before three Saturday morning. Lubbock police pulled over 27-year-old Bobby Cowley, when they searched his car they discovered a handgun and a crystal substance that police say tested positive for amphetamines.

Police arrested Cowley for possession with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of a firearm. We've also learned Cowley is a convicted felon and it's rumored he's a member of the Aryan Brotherhood, NewsChannel 11 is working on further details.
