A Pastor accused of touching a 7-year-old boy is now charged with Indecency of a Child. NewsChannel 11 first told you about the allegations a month ago, but details were limited. Now we know the Pastor is 51-year-old Royce Jimenez of Light of the World Christian Church, which is located at 5502 Auburn.

According to a police report, Jimenez engaged in sexual contact with the boy on seven different occasions. One alleged occurrence was when the boy told his parents the Pastor took him to a VA Clinic where they went into the bathroom, shared a stall, and touched each other inappropriately.

Police arrested Jimenez late Monday afternoon, he's now in the Lubbock county jail.

NewsChannel 11 tried to contact the church for a comment, but they only said this is still an ongoing investigation and Jimenez has not yet been convicted. They would not say if he is still employed with the church.

We also spoke with the victim's parents. They say it is very unfortunate they had to experience this, but the actions they have taken are very appropriate.
