Texas Tech Police Investigating Sexual Assault Allegation Against Tech Employee

In both cases, the women were getting a massage, inside the wellness center at Tech's Recreation Center, when the suspect allegedly touched them inappropriately. Texas Tech police began investigating the case Saturday, when they received a sexual assault call.

They say the suspect is in his 20's and is not a student at Tech.

On Tuesday, we tried to find out if the man is still employed as a part-time masseuse. But, Texas Tech Recreation Center workers told us we had to leave the premises and we did not get our answers.

Investigators are not releasing the suspect's name at this time. That could change on Wednesday when Texas Tech police turn their investigation over to the Lubbock County District Attorney's office. From there, the DA will decide if any further action needs to take place.

According to police, one victim is a student at Texas Tech, the other is not. Investigators are checking to see if there may be other cases. Hoffman says police did question the suspect this week.
