We don't know who it is yet, but the winner of the $36 million Lotto Texas Jackpot is one step closer to claming the prize.

On Monday NewsChannel 11 told you the winning ticket from Saturday's drawing was sold at the 7-11 at 98th and Indiana. Tuesday, the Texas Lottery Commission told us someone called to begin the process of claiming the prize. Representatives told us winners usually choose the cash option and take home about half the jackpot. In this case, that would be $18 million.

Again, the name of the winner has not yet been released.
