Mock Explosion Tests Disaster Response At Lubbock Cooper - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Several students were injured in a massive explosion at Lubbock Cooper High School Wednesday Fortunately, it was only a drill.

Simulated smoke filled the hallways at Lubbock Cooper High School after a mock explosion in the library. Area authorities responded to the mock disaster and assisted students in the school. A triage area was set up for injured students while, other students were evacuated to Lubbock Cooper North Elementary. A similar drill was conducted about five years ago.
