New Homes Selling at Record Rates in Lubbock

Home construction is booming in Lubbock. The Lubbock Economic Development Alliance released new numbers Wednesday that show growing trends in new home sales.

If the trend continues, Lubbock is on track to have nearly 1,200 new home permits this year. Through March, 684 new homes were sold. That's a 13% increase from last year.
