Storms, tornado warnings and severe weather pounded much of the South Plains Friday and 24 hours later, many were putting everything back together.
Traffic in Post was slowed because the streets couldn't hold the amount of rain that fell. At a mobile home park wind destroyed two homes, knocking them over. The wind blew so hard at one point, that resident Jose Cubia thought it was going to break in his door.
"The winds started going so I layed down in one of the closets and holding the walls as much as we can, but I felt the trailer start picking up and I just said lord, it's best to stay awake," said Cubia.
He also helped two neighbors to safety during the storms. No injuries were reported.
