Public Hearings Set for Super Precincts Pilot Program

If you don't vote early, you'll have to vote in your designated precinct on Saturday. Come November, election day could work like early voting. The county wants to participate in a pilot program called Super Precincts. In that case, there would be fewer voting locations but you could vote anywhere you like. The county wants to get your opinion on the idea first.

Commissioners have set three public hearings. The first will be this Thursday, May 11th at 7:00 p.m. It's at the central jury pool at 1302 Avenue G. The others are May 16th at 10:00 a.m. at the Lubbock County Courthouse in the Commissioners Court and May 22nd at 10:15 a.m. in the Commissioners Court.
