Construction Causes Parking Changes at Lubbock's Airport

If you're flying out of Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport, be prepared for some changes. Crews are working to resurface the airport parking areas with concrete.

Monday, covered parking re-opened. The short term parking lot will close Friday. Workers will tow any vehicles left in short term parking to the long term lots.

Free shuttle service will be provided from all lots until the project is complete in mid-September.
