Lubbock I.S.D. PTA Council Rewards Six Students

Six Lubbock I.S.D. seniors will go to graduation knowing they have $2,000 to jump start their trip to college.

The Lubbock I.S.D. PTA Council awarded the scholarships to the students Tuesday. Scholarship Committee Chairperson James Johnston says, "$2,000 will go along way for helping a student. The cost of college is great these days, $2,000 will really help."

All of the recipients are aspiring teachers.
