Grand Jury Does Not Indict Man on Intoxication Manslaughter Charge - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock County Grand Jury declined to indict Eric Chavez on intoxication manslaughter charges. The 21-year-old is accused of hitting and killing a 60-year-old man who was walking across Brownfield Highway last March. The pedestrian, Terry Lynn Dooley was from Big Spring.

The district attorney's office now plans to present a DWI charge to the grand jury in this case.
