Leisure Pool Planned for Texas Tech Campus - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The Student Government Association at Texas Tech is proposing an outdoor leisure pool on campus. On Thursday, the Texas Tech Board of Regents approved a budget for planning to begin.

A proposed $10-dollar increase in the student recreation fee would help pay for the $7 million project. If approved, students would begin paying that increase when the pool is complete in 2008.

It would have a hot tub, lazy river, pool side cafe and water slide.
