Synthetic Version Of Marijuana

A synthetic version of the active ingredient in marijuana will be available to US consumers again soon. The drug called Cesamet will be used to treat the nausea and vomiting often associated with chemotherapy. The pharmaceutical company that makes the drug says it works just like THC in smoked marijuana, but without the effects of inhaling potentially dangerous smoke.

The company says it could start selling the drug in the next two to three weeks.
