Meditation Garden Honors Father/Daughter Killed in Plane Crash - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The memory of two Shallowater residents killed in a small plane crash will now live on.  Tim Vaughn and his eight-year-old daughter Madeline died in the crash last January.

St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church dedicated a meditation garden in their honor. The church also dedicated a statue called "Christ and the Children" in memory of Nell Marie Wiley. Before Wiley passed away in 2003, she was a long-time english teacher at Lubbock and Monterey High Schools and a member of St. Elizabeth's for many years.
