A man who pleaded guilty to robbing several banks here in Lubbock, says he has done it dozens of times in four states.

NewsChannel 11 obtained court documents Monday in which 62-year-old James Peacock admits to committing at least 50 robberies in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Louisiana. He claims he has been robbing banks since 1989.

Last week, Peacock pleaded guilty to robbery and firearm charges in connection to a spree of bank robberies that happened here in Lubbock from April 2004 to January of this year. Police believe Peacock drove the getaway car in most of the robberies. They also found him in possession of latex gloves, disguises and a gun used in one of the Lubbock robberies.

Four others, Erica Edwards, David Johnson, James Horton and Ivin Wozencraft are co-defendants in the case.
