Notifying Veterans About Identity Theft

A stolen computer could put millions of American Veterans at risk for identity theft. The Veteran's Adminstration says information on about 26 million veterans was on a laptop stolen from the home of a government employee earlier this month. The VA is notifying individual veterans about the theft.

It has also set up a call center and website for vets who believe their information is misused. Just (click here) or you can call 1-800-FED-INFO or 1-800-333-4636
