Bird Flu In Indonesia

Seven members of the same family in Indonesia are dead tonight, this is blamed on the bird flu. It is the largest cluster of Avian flu ever. So far no one in the village outside this family has become ill.

The World Health Organization's top Epidemiologist says he believes the family may have cooked and eaten a sick bird. But others are investigating the pigs the kids play with. This means the virus has now been found in twenty-seven of Indonesia's thirty-three provinces.

However, World Health Organization officials say they believe this outbreak is contained and that what appears to be a human to human leap is not the result of a mutation in the virus. So what scientists dread most has not happened yet.
