Former Lubbock County Inmate Executed - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Testimony about his violent assaults against prisoners and jailers while he was in the Lubbock County Jail helped lead to a death sentence for Jesus Ledesma Aguilar.

Aguilar was executed in Huntsville Wednesday night for the 1995 drug-related murders of a Harlingen couple. Prior to the 1995 shootings, Aguilar spent time in the Lubbock County Jail for a burglary and shooting of a police officer. The officer survived.
