One Man Hospitalized After Shooting in Earth, Texas - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

One man is in the hospital after a late night shooting in Earth, Texas. 

There are 1,109 people living in Earth, Texas. After this shooting happened, the Police Chief told Newschannel 11 people need to know that even though they live in a small town, that doesn't mean they're free of crime. 

Earth is located about 60 miles Northwest of Lubbock. Earth police say the shooting happened around 11:30 Saturday night in the 300 Block of Northeast Fir.

We know the victim was taken to a local hospital, but they aren't releasing the name or the severity of his injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation. Police tell us they do have a suspect, but have not made any arrests.
