Two People in Critical Condition After Weekend Accident - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

We now know that two people are in critical condition after a two car collision Saturday afternoon.

An SUV and a pickup truck collided at Brownfield Highway and Loop 289. Police say the SUV was heading east on Brownfield Highway and a pickup truck was heading south on the access road when one of them ran a stoplight.

Right now, the driver of the SUV, 43-year-old Lorien Khweis and a 15-year-old are both in critical condition at UMC.

The driver of the pickup truck did not have any injuries.

Police are still investigating who ran the stoplight.
