Here is something different. A controller that has the game built inside. This one is called Hot Wheels. It is a racing game. All you do is plug into your television and play. For $10, that sounds like a bargain, but Does It Work?
Michael Harry is a remote control racing car enthusiast. He is also the manager at RC Wheels on Avenue Q. It's a business where you can buy remote control cars and race them on their indoor track. Michael was perfect for this test, but let's hope this product doesn't crash and burn.
This game has three different racing areas, four cars to choose and three levels of difficulty. Right off, Michael was plugged into this game no doubt, taking his racing car through loops and tight turns. Michael was a definite pro. "It definitely makes you work on your coordination," said Michael.
Michael tested his skills. "I will try a different level here," Michael picked a different track that was more difficult.
In the end, we noticed the music was fun and the game was challenging.
"How much does something like this cost?" Michael asked. "About $10 dollars," we answered. "That's not bad for the quality graphics at least."
Michael says this game works and kids will enjoy hours of fun playing it too!
The Hot Wheels Plug N Play can be found at most drug and electronic stores.
