23rd CMN Celebration Surpasses Goal of $750 Thousand

Throughout weekend here on NewsChannel 11, Karin McCay and Abner Euresti have hosted the 23rd Children's Miracle Network Celebration. This year donors across the South Plains gave $751,534. That surpasses the goal of $750,000.

"This year it was incredible. The number 750 and some change," said Host Abner Euresti.

"People have come to learn that Lubbock and surrounding areas give and it is just absolutely amazing," said Karin McCay.

Over the last 23 years, the local celebration has raised 9,009,362 dollars.  Every penny stays in Lubbock to help pay for equipment and services at UMC's Children's Hospital.
