Road Rage Disorder

Drivers with road rage may actually be suffering from a psychological disorder that is more common that first believed. According to a study released June 5th, sixteen million Americans suffer from what's called intermittent explosive disorder, that's nearly seven percent of the adult population.

Intermittent explosive disorder can cause people to have multiple outbursts that are way out of proportion to the situation.

The study in the June issue of archives of general psychiatry says IED typically starts to show up during adolescence.
