Experience A Colorful Gardening Event

For a glimpse of some of Lubbock's most beautiful gardens, we may have the perfect event for you this weekend. NewsChannel 11's Suleika Acosta tells us about the Lubbock Arboretum Garden Tour.

Saturday June 10th, the tour gets underway. It's a chance to experience home gardens and the arboretum.

The Lubbock Memorial Arboretum is located at 4111 University. The fundraising garden tour is from 9 a.m. 3 p.m. Just go to the arboretum or call 698-8557 for tickets. They are $6 for non-members and $3 for members.

Below are the Lubbock home gardens that will be on display:

  • 118 North Quincy
  • 3111 78th Street
  • 5502 69th Street
  • 6601 3rd Street
  • 8007 Clinton

All proceeds from the tour go to the upkeep of the arboretum.
